Just Kunafa, an authentic Middle Eastern dessert franchise in Kasaragod, Kerala, aimed to create a brand identity that reflects the rich traditions of Levantine sweets while appealing to modern tastes. Collaborating with Breethink, a branding agency known for its innovative and community centered designs, they sought to establish a strong visual and emotional connection with customers through thoughtful branding.
Challenge
The challenge was to create a brand identity that was traditionally grounded in Middle Eastern desserts like Kunafa while catering to the tastes of the modern contemporary market. It requires cultural heritage to be considered with contemporary elements of design and authenticity, to reach all market segments. The brand must stand out in an established and competitive market while embodying warmth and elegance through brand identity with defined and robust flavors that they produce.






Results
Breethink created a simple and stylish brand for Just Kunafa. The design combines traditional Middle Eastern art with a modern look. The logo shows the beauty and simplicity of Middle Eastern culture, while the font mixes Arabic calligraphy with easy-to-read modern text. Warm colors were chosen to remind people of the sweet taste of the desserts. This brand design feels fresh and timeless, connecting both tradition and modern style.
